Number of Occurrences

Data defiecient. This flea has been found in the nests of gulls and cormorants, sometimes in considerable numbers. The small number of occurrences is likely a reflection of insufficient collecting effort. In fact, it may be more widely distributed in Canada than currently known (NT, QC and NS). More data are needed before an accurate rank can be assigned to this species in NT.
