Number of Occurrences

Data deficient. This is considered by Lewis and Haas (2001) as a winter nest flea as adults, one infrequently encountered on a host outside the nest. It is most often collected infesting microtine rodents throughout its Amphiberingian range. The small number of occurrences in NT is likely the result of limited collecting effort. Holland (1985) referred to this flea as Catallagia dacenkoi fulleri Holland; now Catallagia dacenkoi, by Lewis and Haas (2001). NWT SMS: Fort Simpson (2019), Fort Liard (2019), Fort resolution (2018) (R2021003)
