The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) is developing a 2019-2023 Action Plan to support the implementation of the 2030 NWT Climate Change Strategic Framework.

NWT residents are invited to read the 2019-2023 Draft Action Plan and submit comments to:

The deadline to provide feedback is November 30, 2018.

Comments received during this public review period will be taken into consideration during the development of the final 2019-2023 Action Plan.

Comments received during the public review will be summarized in a What We Heard report and released to the public once the engagement deadline has passed and comments have been processed.

Results of past engagement:

  • A draft Climate Change Strategic Framework was released for public comment during December 2016 and January 2017. Read what we heard during that engagement.
