In 1997, the governments of Canada, British Columbia (BC), Alberta, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories (NWT), and Yukon signed the Mackenzie River Basin Transboundary Waters Master Agreement, in order to promote cooperative water management across the Mackenzie River Basin. (En anglais seulement)
