Mobile Core Bathurst Caribou Conservation Areas Map - May 21, 2017

An updated map for the Mobile Core Bathurst Caribou Conservation Areas is now available. View the March 21, 2017 map. The map will be updated on a regular basis.

The Mobile Core Bathurst Caribou Conservation Areas have been established as a wildlife management unit for barren-ground caribou to ensure the conservation of the Bathurst caribou herd. No one is allowed to harvest barren-ground caribou in the Conservation Areas.

Implementation Highlights - AB-NWT Bilateral Water Management Agreement - 2015-2016

The Alberta-NWT Bilateral Water Management Agreement was signed on March 18, 2015.

The Agreement defines the ways the two governments will work together to manage transboundary waters to maintian ecological integrity of the aquatic ecosystems.

The Implementation Highlights report contains highlights of the inaugural year of implementation, 2015-2016.
