Specific information on which appliance qualifies:

Woodstove	$400 (EPA 40 CFR Part 60 or CSA - B415.1-M92 approved)
Wood pellet appliances	$1,000 - pellet boiler (ULC certified) $700 - pellet furnace (ULC certified) $500 - pellet stove (ULC certified)
Heat recovery ventilator	$300 (certified by the Home Ventilating Institute, www.hvi.org)
Oil furnaces and boilers	$900 - oil furnace 92% efficiency $600 – oil boiler 85% efficiency $500 – oil furnace 85% efficiency (with a brushless DC motor) $300 – oil furnace 83% efficiency $250 - oil furnace for mobile home 80% efficiency
Gas or propane furnaces and boilers	$900 - gas boiler 90% efficiency $600 – gas boiler 85% efficiency $500 – gas furnace 92% efficiency (with a brushless DC motor) $300 – gas furnace 90% efficiency
Hot water heating	$800 - replacement of electric hot water heater with oil or gas hot water heater (non-hydro communities only) $350 - instantaneous hot water heater  $300 - condensing hot water heater
