Firearm Safety
Please remember firearms can be dangerous tools. Use the following tips to help you safety enjoy your hunting trip:
- Treat every firearm as if it were loaded.
- Always control the muzzle of your firearm.
- Be sure of your target and beyond.
- Never shoot at a flat hard surface, including water.
- Never point a firearm at anything you don’t want to shoot.
- Never climb, run or jump with a load firearm.
- Lock up firearms and ammunition separately.
- Be sure the barrel is clear of obstructions.
- Unload firearms when not in use.
- Avoid alcohol before and during a hunt.
