Environmental Assessment and Monitoring

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources  (ENR) coordinates the preliminary screening, environmental impact assessment process and on-going monitoring activities for resource development projects. 

ENR routinely provides advice to various screening and regulatory agencies, including the Environmental Impact Screening Committee in the Inuvialuit Settlement region, land and water boards and the National Energy Board.
